On scouting for more information about the real Anna and King Mongkut.
I stumble on this great page about the
fact and fiction of Anna and The King ,
made by another Thai student who has the resource to do more research rather
than just listening to the historians on TV. It has everything you will
want to know. Facts about their true life and relationship, message board
showing Thai people's view and Westerners' view on the film. It gives a
lot of insights to Thai culture and presents the way Thai people think.
Our point of view sometimes are very strange to western people. This page
also have good links.Check it out if you are really interested in this
historical subject. The message board is a truly recommended information
resource.

Thai royals today, the royal barges ,
Thai prehistory, history of the temple of Emerald Buddha
can be found at this
site.
Opinion is valuable. I found many Thai thinking the same about
the film. Some hates the film and have strong criticism towards the filmmaker
and even the US. But that's no big deal. The important thing is Thais are
more open to speak to people from different culture and exchange their
views.
I hope those of you who found this page also found something useful
to you on the sites I recommended.
